Sunderland RCA are happy to welcome goalkeeper Lewis Charlton back to the club as our fourth signing of the summer.
The young shot stopper was previously on RCA’s books and spent last season with Sunderland West End, Boldon C.A and Silksworth C.W. He arrives back in Ryhope to bolster our squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Charlton already has EBAC Northern League Division Two experience, and manager Mark Forrest was happy to get the keeper sigined on for the upcoming season. He said:
“Lewis is one we were disappointed to lose last year and delighted to welcome in this time around. He’s a young goalkeeper who we’ve been monitoring throughout his time away from the club and we’re excited to see how he can develop and help us between the sticks.”
