RCA got their season off to the best possible start with a three goal win away to Durham United last weekend.
First-half goals from new signings Owen Imeson and James McGeorge got Ryhope off to the races before Callum Guy sealed the points just before half time.
Mark Forrest named six new arrivals in his first competitive eleven of the season, as goalkeeper Lewis Charlton, new skipper Andre Bennett, David Ojo, and Kyle Fryatt started alongside the aforementioned scorers.
It took just eight minutes for our first goal of the season to arrive and it was great footwork from Imeson to jink away from his man and slot beneath the keeper following good work on the right from Luke Richards.
On half an hour it was two. Archie Dodds was the provider as his lofted pass over the top was collected brilliantly by McGeorge before he produced an equally impressive finish.
A good first half became great on the stroke of the interval as Callum Guy carried his excellent 2025/26 form into the new campaign with a stunner.
A clever knock down from Fryatt was picked up by Guy, and with plenty of work to do the maverick forward evaded challenges outside the area en route to firing into the far corner putting the result beyond doubt.
The second half was a professional affair for the visitors that helped see out an impressive victory on the road.
