I am honoured to accept the role of Chairman of Sunderland Ryhope Community Association (RCA) Football Club, a proud Northern League club with deep roots in our community and a rich history that deserves to be celebrated and built upon.
I would like to thank Colin Wilson for his service to the club as Chairman and I am very happy to know, I can call upon his experience as required in the future.
Football is more than 90 minutes on the pitch, it’s about bringing people together, inspiring the next generation, and giving our local area something to be proud of. My vision is to strengthen the bond between Sunderland RCA and our community, making the club a place where everyone feels welcome, involved, and part of our journey.
Over the coming months, we will:
• Forge stronger links with supporters, schools, local groups, and wider community.
• Create more opportunities for families and young people to be part of the club.
• Develop partnerships with local businesses, offering them a platform to support grassroots football while raising their profile.
