Ahead of the new 2026/27 season, Sunderland RCA can confirm our released and retained players.
The trio of Jamie Harwood, Tafari Nicholas, and Lewis Cocks will depart the club this summer.
Harwood and Nicholas both joined the club mid-season from Northallerton Town and made excellent contributions as RCA achieved a mid-table finish in the EBAC Northern League Division Two. Cocks joined soon after from Darlington Town and added depth and quality at the back.
Sunderland RCA would like to extend our deep appreciation and thanks to all three players for their effort, hard work, and performance for the club during their time here and we wish them the very best going forward.
We are delighted to have retained the services of many of our key players from the last campaign as we look to progress as a club in 26/27.

Defenders: Dominic Moan, Jack Patterson, Kieran Charlton, Luke Richards.
Midfielders: Archie Dodds, Chris Thompson, David Hodgson, Lewis Lukeman, Ethan Hammil.
Forwards: Dennis Knight, Callum Guy, Alberto Dumba, Jackson Ward.
New arrivals to the club will be announced in the coming days and weeks as we gear up for our first game of pre-season; a trip to Scotland to take on St Cuthbert Wanderers on Saturday 27th June, 2pm kick-off.
